Our Approach to Materials
At Arden & Avella, we believe customers should know what they are buying.
When a bag is made from genuine leather, we describe it as genuine leather. When a bag is made from PU leather, we describe it as PU leather.
Both materials have their own advantages. Genuine leather is valued for its natural character, durability and the way it can develop over time. PU leather offers a lighter, easy-care alternative with a consistent appearance and a more accessible price point.
We do not use terms such as “luxury leather” or “premium leather” to make PU products appear to be genuine leather. Our aim is simple: clear material information so you can choose the bag that suits you best.
